Variety is Ridley Scott’s forté. As U.S. audiences anxiously await Prometheus’ release this Friday, Scott is already looking to add another genre to his already epic cinematic résumé, although it’s not what you’d expect. Scott is gearing up to take on the Bible — more specifically — Moses.
In an interview with Esquire, Scott let slip the biblical announcement stating, “I’ve got something else in the works. I’m already doing it… What’s interesting to me about Moses isn’t the big stuff that everybody knows. It’s things like his relationship with Ramses.”
With themes of creation weaving throughout Scott’s newest sci-fi feature, it seems the 74-year-old filmmaker is on a bit of an old testament binge. No details were leaked about writers and actors.
