See Character Posters For Tim Burton's Frankenweenie

A few months before its October release, Walt Disney Studios has released hi-res posters featuring the cast of Tim Burton’s upcoming remake, Frankenweenie. These characters were originally created for one of Burton’s first short films of the same name. The original film had some big names including Shelley Duvall and Daniel Stern, but the 53-year-old director opted this time for stop motion animation à la The Nightmare Before Christmas.

The eight posters below include the Frankenstein family, their dog Sparky and the flirtatious poodle Persephone, exemplifying the director’s comedic vision and Mary Shelley’s classic tale.
