The Hood Internet Announce First Album of Original Material

Chicago DJs The Hood Internet are well-known for their mashups and use of samples, but on Sept. 18 the production duo will be releasing their first album of entirely original material on Decon.

The record will be titled FEAT, and with good reason — every track on the album will feature at least one other notable artist. So while The Hood Internet are putting the sampling to rest, they’ll be getting more than a little live help from their friends on the debut. Among the artists appearing on the album are A.C. Newman (of The New Pornographers), Astronautilis, Chain Gain of 1974 and many more.
