Sigourney Weaver: There Are Three More Avatar Films on the Way

If you were feeling a little blue after leaving the world of Pandora, cheer up. Not one, but multiple sequels are in the works. Avatar actress Sigourney Weaver told Showbiz 411 that the Avatar universe will get three more films, all of which are filming at the same time.

But it’s questionable how soon we can expect even one new film. According to Cinemablend, producer Jon Landau was quoted back in January to the effect that the first sequel is still almost four years away.

Looks like you’ll have to satisfy yourself with repeated BluRay watchings for now.
