Victoria Bergsman to Release New Taken by Trees Album

Swedish vocalist Victoria Bergsman will release a new album, Other Worlds — the third from her solo project Taken by Trees. The album is scheduled for an Oct. 2 release. Other Worlds follows her 2007 album Open Field and 2009’s East of Eden.

Bergsman was better known for being the singer for The Concretes, but left the band in 2006. The newest album was inspired by time she spent in Hawaii—a stark contrast from her Scandinavian roots. Other Worlds was produced by Henning Fürst (The Tough Alliance) and will be released through Secretly Canadian.
