Mumford and Sons’ sophomore album is set to be released on Sept. 24, and the band recently released a short teaser trailer for the new record. The clip is only 36 seconds long, and features snippets of scenes from some kind of raucous costume party. No indication is given as to what to expect musically from the forthcoming release.
The band’s yet-to-be-titled second album will follow up their hit 2009 debut, Sigh No More. Leading up to the release, Mumford and Sons have organized four “Gentlemen of the Road” stopovers in August that will combine performances from the band with communal celebrations of the local food, people and culture from each of the stopovers.
