Watch fun.'s Civil War-Themed Music Video for "Some Nights"

Horses, sepia tones, gun cleaning, the sound of boots marching and young lovers all serve to set the scene before the music kicks in for the “Some Nights” video by fun., released today.

The band’s second single is just as joyful and anthemic as their hugely successful first hit, “We Are Young.” The video uses a Civil War motif, taking the lyric “This is it, boys / this is war” to a very literal, yet never too hokey place. The fireworks don’t hurt, either.
