Watch OFF!'s Video for "Cracked"

LA punk band OFF!, which was recently formed by Keith Morris of Black Flag and The Circle Jerks, released their debut full-length album in May. Today, they released the first installment of an “episodic trilogy” of videos of songs off the album.

The video, described as a “comedy short,” involves dueling sign spinners facing off on opposite sides of a busy street. Their good-natured competition turns ugly when the guy wielding the “OFF!” sign realizes it’s pointed end can double as a weapon.

All three videos of the trilogy were directed by Whitey McConnaughy, who has previously worked with Superchunk, Red Fang and The Thermals. Look out for the next two installments, “I Got News For You” and “Borrow and Bomb,” which are due out later this month.

OFF! will also be touring the U.S. with Refused beginning July 15. Check out the full schedule, as well as the video for “Cracked,” below.

If you want to learn more about OFF!, we recently caught up with Keith Morris to discuss his new project.
