Watch Tenacious D Perform on The Daily Show

Tenacious D released their latest album, Rize of the Fenix, earlier this year, and last night they stopped by The Daily Show with Jon Stewart to perform a few songs from the new record.

After dedicating the song to the “survival of the human race,” Jack Black and company played a heartfelt rendition of “Deth Starr” …well about as heartfelt as you can get with lyrics like “The world is freaking turning to poo!”

They followed it up with a rousing performance of “Throw Down.” Take a look at videos of the performance below:
