Watch The Dirty Projectors' Video for "Gun Has No Trigger"

If you really miss those iPod commercials with the silhouettes of people in front of brightly-colored backgrounds, you’re in luck: the new Dirty Projectors video for “Gun Has No Trigger” is styled after them.

The background changes seamlessly from color to color while the Projectors stand motionless, singing their parts. At times, there’s a momentary burst of light on a face, fast enough to make the face feel subliminal. By the end of the video, there’s actually enough light to make out facial features, and it feels like what the lighting’s been alluding to from the beginning of the video.

All in all, though very simple, it’s also very fun to watch, which you can do below. The Dirty Projectors are on tour all summer long.
