Watch the Teaser Trailer for Gears of War: Judgment

Day one of E3 has already uncovered details on a number of great titles, and the newest Gears of War game is no exception. Microsoft showed off the game’s first trailer during its press conference earlier this afternoon. Marching to the tune of A Perfect Circle’s “Counting Bodies like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums,” protagonist Damon Baird is brought forward in chains. Besides some fiery chaos and angry Locust shots, little else can be gleaned from the trailer’s stunning cinematics.

Judgment will take place 15 years before the events of the first game, where Baird and his squad stand trial for treason. According to Eurogamer, the game will feature class-based multiplayer, in addition to its campaign.

Gears of War: Judgment is scheduled for release in 2013. You can watch its first trailer below.
