Robert Zemeckis is no stranger to dramatizing plane crashes. Tom Hanks’ FedEx plane famously went down in Cast Away, and his forthcoming film starring Denzel Washington, titled Flight, also hinges around the events resulting from a plane crash.

While Chuck Noland washes up on a desert island, completely isolated from any human contact, Washington, who plays the plane’s pilot, finds himself embroiled in a media frenzy. Though he is hailed as a hero for his grace under pressure after saving the lives of the over 100 passengers on board, a blood test reveals alcohol in his system and a maelstrom of controversy ensues.

The film, which is scheduled to hit theaters this November, also stars Don Cheadle and John Goodman. Take a look at the trailer below.
