Yesterday, Disney released the first trailer for an upcoming animated film titled Wreck-It Ralph. The movie features the voice stylings of John C. Reilly as the film’s wannabe-hero, Wreck-It Ralph. The general synoposis is Ralph, a villain in an arcade game called Fix-It Felix, Jr., is tired of being the bad guy and wants to be a hero. Trouble ensues and it soon it appears that Ralph might get his wish.
Although the major characters are from imaginary game titles, the supporting cast reveals some familiar faces including Bowser, Zangief, M. Bison, Dr. Robotnik and Clyde.
Other voice talents include Jane Lynch, Sarah Silverman and 30 Rock’s Jack McBrayer. Director Rich Moore is familiar with the animated artform after working on Matt Groening’s Futurama and Simpsons.
Wreck-It Ralph will be released in theaters on Nov. 2. You can watch the trailer below.
