Watch the Video for Sun Kil Moon's "Black Kite"

If the tragic passing of former drummer Tim Mooney earlier this week is any indication, life has been tough on Mark Kozelek (a.k.a. Sun Kil Moon) recently. A new video for “Black Kite,” a song from Kozelek’s sad/funny latest album, Among the Leaves, surfaced yesterday, and it’s fittingly heartbreaking.

The six-minute video is basically a sequence of greyscale footage of Wuthering Heights-ish natural landscapes with some special effects placed on top. It’s a soothing—and, again, emotionally heavy—experience.
