World War Z Undergoing Seven Weeks of Reshoots

Shooting for World War Z wrapped up last summer, but Cinema Blend reports that many of the film’s stars are returning for reshoots. Brad Pitt and co-stars are reportedly heading back to Budapest for another seven weeks of additional shooting.

World War Z is an adaption of the post-apocalyptic novel by Max Brooks. The film is being directed by Marc Forester and will document the decade-long war between zombies and humans.

World War Z is currently scheduled to hit theaters on June 21, 2013. There’s still no word on whether additional production will push the film’s release date back.
