Animal Collective Starts Radio Show, Premieres New Tracks

Animal Collective’s new radio show started last night and will continue to broadcast every Sunday night at 9 p.m. until Aug. 19 at radio.myanimalhome.net. During last night’s show, promotion for the upcoming album Centipede Hz, which is out Sept. 4 via Domino, kicked off with the premiere of a new single “Today’s Supernatural.”

Animal Collective member Noah Lennox curated the first show and played a recently recorded mix featuring two instrumentals, “Soft Serve Rip Curl” and “Principe Real”—both previously unheard tracks. The first episode, which also featured new mixes from Black Dice, Haunted Graffiti and Sublime Frequencies, will continue to stream on a loop until 9 p.m tonight. (Each one will stream for 24 hours after airing).

Listen to “Today’s Supernatural” and both Panda Bear mixes below.
