Bad Santa 2 in the Works

Steve Pink (Hot Tub Time Machine, Accepted) is reportedly in talks to write and direct a sequel to Bad Santa, the raunchy 2003 Christmas comedy starring Billy Bob Thornton as a drunken, thieving mall Santa.

Billy Bob Thornton is expected to reprise his role, but no other details have been released as to a potential cast or expected release date. We’ll just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope that Thurman Merman will be back.
