Broken Social Scene's Brendan Canning to Score The Canyons

Broken Social Scene and Cookie Duster member Brandon Canning is set to score Paul Schrader’s film The Canyons, which will feature Lindsey Lohan and a script written by Bret Easton Ellis.

Canning has scored several other projects before, including Trigger and The Tracey Fragments. His new flick is set in present day Los Angeles and details the lives of distraught young adults. Director Gus Van Sant will also appear in the film.
