Andrew Stanton, best known for his directorial debut on John Carter, will direct the Pixar sequel to 2003’s Finding Nemo. Despite his previous film’s box office flop, Deadline reports the director is pushing a (secretive and highly guarded) concept the studio apparently loves.
Finding Nemo remains Pixar’s second highest-grossing film, right after Toy Story 3. No word yet on what exactly the film’s plot will entail, but we assume the finding of Nemo will once again be involved. Will someone put a leash on that kid already?
