IFC to Air Hour-Long Portlandia Summer Special

The third season of the hit IFC comedy Portlandia won’t be start until next January, but Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein have cooked up a star-studded, hour-long summer special to tide fans over.

The special will be called Portlandia: The Brunch Special and will expand on and feature behind-the-scenes footage from “Brunch Village,” the season two finale. Guest stars are set to include Kyle MacLachlan, chef Bobby Flay and series executive producer and SNL head Lorne Michaels. Tim Robbins, who appeared in “Brunch Village,” is also slated to be featured in the special.

Portlandia: The Brunch Special will air July 20 at 11 p.m. EST on IFC.
