Since the advent of rock ‘n’ roll, some bands have moved away from the traditional “drums, bass, guitar, keys” set-up and incorporated some unusual instruments. Banjos, synthesizers or fiddles are commonplace, but if you go to a Black Lips show you just might see them putting a mic inside a human skull.
