Listen to Solar Year's New Single Featuring Grimes

Montreal duo Solar Year has dropped an atmospheric new track off their recently released album, Waverly.

The otherworldly, synth-laden “Brotherhood” features Claire Boucher—better known by her stage name, Grimes—adding guest vocals. One half of the duo, David Ertel, told Gorilla Vs. Bear, “Claire is chanting a dark medieval Nico voice in a duet with me.”

Waverly premiered in mid-June in an unique manner fitting of meditative track: underwater at McGill’s Memorial Pool in Montreal. You can stream the single below.
