Louie Renewed for Fourth Season
It’s only a formality at this point, but FX has announced that they will be renewing Louie for a fourth season. The announcement was made by FX head John Landgraf during the TV Critics Association Press Tour in Los Angeles on Saturday.
“There are not enough superlatives in the English language to bestow on Louie or the work Louis C.K. is doing,” Landgraf said. “With this series, he has changed the form and is doing truly groundbreaking, landmark work that is inspiring a whole new generation of artists. Simply put, he is making one of the best shows anywhere on television.”
The new deal is for 13 episodes and comes on the heels of Louie garnering three Emmy nominations, and its creator and star, Louis C.K., receiving a record seven individual nods.
