Mockingjay Film to Get Two-Part Release

It seems the odds are ever in fan favor—at least for those who want to extend the movie magic of The Hunger Games for as long as possible. The trilogy has mutated into four installments, with Mockingjay set to split in two.

Cinemablend reports that The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I will hit theaters on Nov. 21, 2014, while Part II will come almost a full year later on Nov. 20, 2015.

The second film in the now fourligy, Catching Fire, is set for release on Nov. 22, 2013. Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson are expected to reprise their roles, along with expected additions of Philip Seymour Hoffman and Jena Malone.
