Modern Family Cast Members Come to An Agreement

The joint lawsuit filed by the adult cast members of ABC’s Modern Family against 20th Century Fox Television has been dropped and the actors have signed new deals with new payment terms.

Their raises aren’t as high as originally proposed in the lawsuit, but each of the six actors will make a bit more than $150,000 per episode, with the inclusion of back-end profits. Previously, the actors made about $65,000 an episode. With bonuses, the cast will be making about $170,000 per episode.

Ed O’Neill was paid on a separate scale than the other adults, but joined in the lawsuit out of solidarity with the cast.

In light of the settlement, production is set to start back up today.
