Steven Spielberg Wants Chris Hemsworth for <i>Robopocalypse</i>

The film based on Daniel H. Wilson’s robapocalyptic novel might have found its leading man, if Steven Spielberg has anything to say on the matter. According to Deadline, Spielberg has already met with the Thor star and wants Chris Hemsworth in the lead role.

The Austrailian actor has already achieved Hollywood fame through several blockbusters, including Thor and The Avengers. He also recently starred in Cabin in the Woods and Snow White and The Huntsman.

Robopocalypse is the story of a robot uprising and humanity’s struggle to survive. It was recently adapted for film by Drew Goddard (Cabin in the Woods, Cloverfield). The film is being co-financed by both DreamWorks and Fox.
