Watch a Demonstration of PlayStation's New Wonderbook
PlayStation’s Wonderbook was originally announced during E3 in early June this year. As if a completely interactive book wasn’t big enough news, the excitement multiplied when Sony simultaneously announce that J.K. Rowling would write some spells for the device’s launch title, Book of Spells.
The Wonderbook has pages like an ordinary book, but what this tome can deliver is quite different from your average reading experience. Small areas of the book sync with the screen and display images that are otherwise unseen in reality.
Kotaku was able to capture five minutes of the Wonderbook in action and shows how the PlayStation Move operates with the new device. You can watch the whole video here. I’m not sure if book video games are the future of the industry, but Book of Spells is making a convincing argument.
