Preview a New Avett Brothers Song

Last month, The Avett Brothers announced that they will be releasing their sixth studio album, The Carpenter, on Sept. 11. The band also released a massive touring schedule, but not many other details in regard to their forthcoming album.

Yesterday, RollingStone.com treated fans to a preview of one of the new album’s tracks, “Live and Die,” in the form of a stop-motion clip starring a can of Cheerwine soda.

It’s not without good reason. On Oct. 19, Cheerwine will sponsor The Legendary Giveback, an Avett Brothers benefit concert in Charlottsville, Va. Proceeds from the event will go to family aid organizations across the country, and the concert will be streamed live to anyone who commits to volunteer in their community through Cheerwine’s website or Facebook page.
