Watch the Trailer for David Duchovny's New Film, Goats

As can be divined from the title, David Duchovny’s new film will feature goats, which are quickly becoming the cinematic of equivalent of fun, quirky and strange. But evidence from the trailer suggests that goats only play a small part. The film’s thematic heart lives in the relationship between Ellis (Graham Phillips) and Goat Man (David Duchovny), almost a Doc Brown/Marty McFly-esque relationship with goats (and no time travel).

Duchovny’s character is immediately lovable and offers the trailer a sense of freshness in an otherwise familiar plot: a divorced family, an estranged father trying to make it work, a hippie mother and a son trying to find his place somewhere in between. But the trailer also holds moments of endearment as well. There are laughs, tears and goat noises included.
