Arrested Development Begins Production of New Episodes
Last week, Arrested Development narrator Ron Howard tweeted a picture of the script for first in a new batch of episodes that will premiere next year on Netflix. Now, Deadline has reported that the entire cast has finally assembled to begin filming the new season.
Arrested Development was cancelled in 2006 after a three-season run that garnered a large and devoted cult following, but failed to achieve the level mainstream success Fox had hoped. Since the cancellation, rumors have swirled about a possible reunion, either for a movie or another season of episodes, and only recently have fans been assured that more Arrested Development will indeed be on the way.
The new fourth season is expected to shoot throughout the fall and air on Netflix sometime in 2013. Netflix has confirmed that all 10 episodes will be made available at once.
