Björk and Broadcaster David Attenborough to Make Music Documentary

Björk and U.K. broadcaster David Attenborough are teaming up again for a new documentary in which they will co-narrate a story about the evolution of music and how people and technology have altered its form. The Hollywood Reporter reported Attenborough and Björk: The Nature of Music will be the second project the two have worked on together after he narrated her multimedia creation Biophilia—a collection that will have a prominent place in the new documentary.

Executive producer Lucas Ochoa of Pulse Films said of the project: “Born from Björk’s revolutionary music project we are thrilled to be able to document this incredible journey with her; she is undeniably one of the most iconic figures in popular culture and truly pushes boundaries like no other artist does.”

Louise Hooper will direct the film and UK’s Channel 4 will broadcast the piece. Watch one of the Biophilia apps that Attenborough narrated below.
