Bon Iver's Justin Vernon Writes Song for 25-Member Choir

The Silver Lake Chorus, a 25-member Los Angeles vocal group, will be releasing their Wreckage EP this fall. The EP features new songs by Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and The New Pornographers’ A.C. Newman that were written exclusively for the group.

The choir will be self-releasing the EP on Sept. 18, which was produced by Ben Lee. According to Pitchfork, a future album from them will include original songs by Tegan and Sara, Of Montreal, Amiee Mann, The Bird and the Bee, and Sia.

You can listen to the first cut from the EP below, Justin Vernon’s “From the Snow Tipped Hills.”
