Devo is very passionate about taking a stand for Mitt Romney’s dog Seamus, the one who was strapped to the roof of the station wagon in a kennel during a family road trip. Not only has Devo’s founder and commercial director, Gerald V. Casale, started the Remember Seamus campaign and backed Dogs Against Romney, but a new track will be released Aug. 25 titled “Don’t Roof Rack Me, Bro! (Seamus Unleashed).”
Casale will also be designing special edition shirts for the Dogs Against Romney group and will be involved in an upcoming mobile game called “The Crate Escape: Seamus Unleashed,” set for release on National Dog Day (Aug. 26). If you’re gonna go for it, go big, and that’s clearly what Devo is doing. Seamus would surely grateful.
