Download the New Single from A.C. Newman, "I'm Not Talking"

As previously announced, chief New Pornographer A.C. Newman is set to release his third solo album this fall, and now that album has a title and a striking first single.

The album will be called Shut Down the Streets and will be released on Oct. 9 via Matador. The song, “I’m Not Talking,” takes a more intimate tone than Newman’s work with The New Pornographers, but from the subtle backing vocals and instantly affecting melody to the horn leads that hold the song together, the track holds its own when compared to the many previous high points of his lengthy songwriting career.
