Ellen DeGeneres in Talks for Finding Nemo Sequel
Ellen DeGeneres is expected reprise her roll as Dory, the adorable fish suffering from short-term memory loss, in Finding Nemo 2. Reports of the talks first came from The Hollywood Reporter.
DeGeneres will be joined by original co-director Andrew Stanton and writer Victoria Strouse for the much anticipated sequel set to release in 2016. Details on the film are still tightly under wraps and few details are available at this time.
If 2016 seems so unbearably far away for a Finding Nemo fix, fans can see the original Finding Nemo in 3D Sept. 14. Pixar also has a few movies that are expected to get a release in the meantime—The Good Dinosaur and an untitled production about the human mind. Finding Nemo won Pixar an Oscar for Best Animated Feature.
