After a new Neil Young and Crazy Horse cut called “”Twisted Road surfaced yesterday, fan footage of two more new songs has surfaced from a show at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colo.
It was also recently announced that on Sept. 29, Neil Young will be headlining a free benefit concert in Central Park along with The Black Keys and Foo Fighters. The concert is being organized by the Global Poverty Project and is intended “to motivate people to do something to alleviate extreme poverty around the world.” Though the event is free, to be entered into the lottery for one of the 54,000 tickets, one needs to visit the Global Citizen website and earn points by participating in various charitable acts.
You can watch the new songs below, “Born in Ontario,” an ode to his home providence, and a partial video of the 20-minute “Walk Like A Giant.”
The new songs are not attached to a new album yet, but keep checking back on details on the new material.
