Jon Glaser Joins Parks and Recreation

Leslie Knope’s political road is about to get rockier. After triumphing in a roller coaster campaign and seeing her boyfriend off to D.C. in Parks and Recreation’s fourth season, Leslie’s newest challenge arises in the form of a member of the Pawnee town council, played by Jon Glaser.

Glaser, a comedian and star of the Adult Swim sleeper hit Delocated!, will play Leslie’s adversary. Glaser’s orthodontist-turned-councilman doesn’t appreciate her enthusiasm or charm and, according to showrunner Michael Schur, “doesn’t care about her bright-eyed, bushy-tailed attitude toward making the town better… He just doesn’t like her.”

Glaser’s character is expected to be introduced in the third episode of season five.
