Jon Hamm to Guest Star on Bob's Burgers
He's playing a talking, high-tech toilet
Jon Hamm has tackled many roles over the years, most notably as Don Draper on AMC’s Mad Men, but we’re about to see him as we’ve never seen him before: as a talking high-tech toilet. On the upcoming season of Bob’s Burgers, Hamm lends his commanding vocals to play the animated toilet, which is found by Eugene Mirman-voiced Gene.
Producer Loren Bouchard told Entertainment Weekly a few details about the plotline: “It’s a kind of E.T. homage, but instead of an alien, it’s this high-end talking electronic toilet that falls off a truck and lands in the woods. And Gene finds it, E.T.-style. It’s kind of a love story between a boy and a toilet.”
Recently nominated for Best Animated Series, Bob’s Burgers’ third season has its fair share of hilarious guests, with later episodes featuring Zach Galifianakis, Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally and Will Forte just to name a few.
Catch the season premiere on Sept. 30 on FOX.
