Josh Brolin in Talks to Join Sean Penn's Crazy for the Storm

According to Variety, Josh Brolin is currently in talks to star in Sean Penn’s latest directorial venture Crazy for the Storm, an adaptation of Norman Ollestad’s memoir of the same name.

While the details are yet to be finalized, the temporary plan is to begin shooting in the first quarter of 2013.

The story tells of how Ollestad utilized skills instilled upon him by his father (Brolin) to survive after a plane crash left him stranded and alone when he was 11.

This will be Penn’s first directorial project since 2007’s Into the Wild.
