Kevin Hart to Host the VMAs

Comedian Kevin Hart has been announced as the host of the 2012 VMAs in a new promo that also features celebrity couple Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

The less-than-politically correct video features the threesome in a hotel room discussing their first rendezvous with the press as the new “it” couple—yes, all three of them.

The MTV Video Music Awards will take place Sept. 6 at 8 p.m. from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Alicia Keys and One Direction will be performing.
