Thurston Moore took a quick break from that black metal supergroup he joined earlier this week to release a new song with his other brand new band, Chelsea Light Moving.
“Frank o’ Hara Hit” is the second of two songs we’ve heard from the band over the past ten days. It’s a dark, sinister track about the New York writer, poet and art critic of the same name. An earlier CLM single, “Burroughs,” was inspired by beat icon William S. Burroughs.
Maybe there’s a theme going on here for a still-unannounced full-length album.
Check out the song on Matador’s blog here.
