Listen to an Alternate Version of Elliott Smith's "Angeles"

As previously reported, August is seeing a number of previously unreleased versions of Elliott Smith songs, and today we have an intimate, acoustic take on Either/Or’s “Angeles.”

In previous weeks, we have received alternate recordings of “Alameda” and “Punch and Judy.” This all revolves around what would have been the singer’s 43rd birthday this month.

Kill Rock Stars is reissuing Smith’s entire output for the label as a digital bundle, titled The Indie Years, as well as Either/Or and Elliott Smith on 180 gram vinyl for the first time.
