The Aug. 28 release of Matthew Dear’s anticipated new LP Beams is creeping closer, but to hold us over until then, a new track “Earthforms” is available for listening. Following his EP Headcage, released in January, Dear released his first single “Her Fantasy” which left fans and critics alike looking forward to hearing Beams in its entirety.

Dear’s gravely voice paired with an extremely catchy bassline and percussion make “Earthforms” the kind of track that is easily just as dance-y as it is dark and contemplative.
