Listen to New Field Report Track "Chico, The American"

Field Report (Chris Porterfield) is set to release his self-titled debut LP on Sept. 11 via Partisan. Porterfield was once part of the band DeYarmond Edison, which also included Brad Cook, Phil Cook and Joe Westerlund (now Megafuaun), as well as Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon.

After DeYarmond Edison split in 2006, Porterfield began writing what would end up being the first project for Field Report. The album was recorded at Vernon’s studio, and now the most recent song to be released, “Chico, The American,” is available for listening. Check out the track below.
