Parker Posey to Appear in Season Premiere of New Girl

Parker Posey has been lauded for her recent work on Louie, on which she appeared for two episodes as a bookstore clerk that Louis C.K.’s character goes on an eventful date with.

Now, the Dazed and Confused and Wet Hot American Summer star has been cast to appear on the Season 2 premiere of Fox’s New Girl.

Posey will reportedly play “a ‘shot girl’ at a party to celebrate the removal of Schmidt’s penis cast.” Leslie Mann was originally set to play the role but had to back out because of a scheduling conflict.

Season 2 of New Girl is set to begin Sept. 25 on Fox.
