Parks and Recreation Producers Land Fox Pilot
Two men behind NBC’s Parks and Recreation, Michael Schur (co-creator/executive producer/showrunner) and Dan Goor (executive producer) have landed a pilot commitment from Fox.
The single-camera cop comedy, which sparked a bidding war among the networks last week, will be co-written by Schur and Goor and will follow detectives at a New York City precinct. 3 Arts Entertainment’s David Miner will accompany the duo as executive producer.
Schur recently inked a 2-year-deal with Universal TV, and was previously a writer on The Office, whose upcoming ninth season was just announced to be its last.
