LCD Soundsystem's Shut Up and Play the Hits Now Available on iTunes

Shut Up and Play the Hits, the documentary chronicling LCD Soundsystem’s farewell concert at Madison Square Garden, is available right now—like, this instant—to purchase and stream on iTunes.

The documentary was originally released for a single night in select theaters across the country on July 28. Not everyone, of course, was able to get tickets and/or avoid scheduling conflicts, so many of the band’s fans were forced to wait for the DVD release to experience the band’s sendoff. Earlier this month it was announced that the documentary would be released on DVD and Blu-ray on Oct. 9 as part of a three-disc set for $32.99.

Now comes the easiest and cheapest way for fans to simply watch the documentary. It’s on iTunes. Right now.

For $12.99 you can buy the film in HD, or rent it for $4.99. Standard definition versions are also available for $9.99 and $3.99, respectively.
