Smashing Pumpkins Announce North American Tour

Alt rockers Smashing Pumpkins are hitting the road this September to promote their new album, Oceania, which was released June 19. After shows in Mexico and Canada, the band will return to the U.S. on Oct. 10, playing their first show in Seattle, Wash. The tour includes stops in Chicago, Boston and Brooklyn.

Fans can expect to hear Oceania in its entirety during solo shows followed by the band’s classics in the second part. Sean Evans, who recently worked with Roger Waters on a staging of The Wall will provide visuals using new technology to create, according to Smashing Pumpkins’ website, “something new and previously unseen.” Check out the full list of shows below.
