The Melvins Announce New 10" Titled 1983
The Melvins have announced yet another new release, their third this year, with this one featuring the band’s original 1983 lineup.
This year first saw The Bulls and the Bees EP, recorded as a four-piece, and later the full-length Freak Puke from the Melvins Lite. Now an iteration of the group—Buzz Osbourne, Dale Crover and Mike Dillard—will put out a 10" this fall, aptly titled 1983.
The release, out through Amphetamine Reptile Records, will include four songs, the tracklisting for which you can take a look at below. Physical copies of 1983 will be available during Melvin Lite’s upcoming “51” tour, where they’ll attempt to play the 50 states and D.C. without a single day off.
You can listen to “Psycho-delic Haze”, the lead track off the 10", below, and check out their tour dates as well.
