THQ Cancels Guillermo del Toro's Videogame, InSane

Back in 2010, director Guillermo del Toro (Hellboy, Pan’s Labyrinth) announced his plans to work with game developer and publisher THQ on a trilogy of games called, InSane. It was mentioned that the project was meant to make you “shit your pants,” which is also an apt description of del Toro’s nightmarish character designs in his films.

Unfortunately for del Toro and horror gamers alike, THQ has announced that it has canceled the title and given rights to del Toro. InSane was primarily a project under the game developer Volition, Inc., best known for the popular gangster series, Saints Row. Volition also recently canceled Tomonobu Itagaki’s Devil’s Third.
